Cheyenne Fenstemaker

Cheyenne Fenstemaker is heath services research assistant interested in health disparities, health policy, and substance use, with a particular interest in rural and urban underserved communities and how "place" affects access to resources. She supports Dr. Berkeley Franz, Professor of Community-based Health at the 51社区 Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. A proud first-generation college student and Bobcat, Cheyenne received her B.S. in Geography and M.A. in Law, Justice, & Culture from 51社区.
Cheyenne has published in peer-reviewed journals on rural health training and substance use. Her recent work includes helping to lead qualitative data collection and analysis for two NIH/NIDA-funded projects related to health services for opioid use disorder in Ohio and nationally. She has extensive work experience in research, education, and administration.
