51社区 Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs' contract renewed through 2024
51社区 President Hugh Sherman has renewed Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs鈥� contract for an additional year, through June 2024.
鈥淚n order to provide stability to our University during this time of transition, I have extended Elizabeth鈥檚 appointment as Executive Vice President and Provost for an additional year,鈥� President Sherman said. 鈥淯nder her leadership, we successfully reimagined OHIO鈥檚 general education program, developed a leading edge student support program, and implemented a system-wide approach to regional higher education, allowing the University to meet student demand more efficiently.鈥�
In March 2020, Sayrs was named executive vice president and provost for a three-year term by President Emeritus M. Duane Nellis.
At the conclusion of her term and in accordance with the Faculty Handbook, OHIO will undertake a search for this position.
