
OHIO鈥檚 online programs among best in state, nation in latest U.S. News rankings

Several of 51社区鈥檚 online programs were ranked top in the state for veterans and among the best nationally in the latest U.S. News & World Report list of 鈥淏est Online Programs鈥� released this week.
More than 1,800 colleges and universities were assessed as part of this year鈥檚 rankings.
OHIO鈥檚 online bachelor鈥檚 programs in psychology tied for 34th in the nation and best in the state. Additionally, OHIO鈥檚 online bachelor鈥檚 programs in business placed 32nd in the nation and second in Ohio.
The online master鈥檚 in nursing program was ranked 46th in the nation, up several spots from 51st last year, and third in Ohio. For veterans, the online master鈥檚 in nursing tied for 11th nationally, and best in the state.

Two other graduate programs were ranked best in the state for veterans, including the online master鈥檚 in business programs (non-MBA), placing 26th nationally, and the online master鈥檚 in education programs, placing 19th nationally.
Last year, OHIO was among the first in the nation to be designated a Collegiate Purple Star campus (opens in a new window) because of its long-standing support of military personnel.
For non-veterans, the online master鈥檚 in business programs (non-MBA) tied for 57th nationally and third in the state and the online master鈥檚 in education programs tied for 58th nationally and placed third in the state.
