Bobcats will gather on the Athens campus for OHIO鈥檚 Homecoming Week 2024, starting Sept. 23, 2024.

The weeklong celebration will feature student and alumni favorites such as the pep rally , the (following the Homecoming Parade), and of course the at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 28 vs. Akron. The football game will begin at 3:30 p.m.

The entire Bobcat family, from OHIO students, faculty, staff and alumni to our surrounding communities, is encouraged to save the date for this one-of-a-kind celebration that offers plenty of opportunities to reminisce and celebrate all things OHIO. 

鈥�51社区 truly holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who has had an opportunity to be part of the traditions, memories and experiences that are uniquely OHIO,鈥� said Jennifer Bowie, associate vice president of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving and the executive director of the 51社区 Alumni Association. 鈥淲e can鈥檛 wait to welcome everyone back to our incredible community this fall to celebrate our Bobcat connections.鈥� 

The parade will be live streamed at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 鈥� . 

Returning to the event lineup this year is . New to Homecoming 2024 is Bobcat Quest (opens in a new window) and ! Homecoming revelers will form a group of up to six participants 鈥� whether friends, family, or fellow Bobcats 鈥� and dive into this campus-wide and community-wide quest. You'll visit five of the 10 stops and document your visits with photo proof. After visiting five stops and submitting your photos, the team will be entered in a drawing to win exciting OHIO prizes. 

The annual will be held in the evening on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. Registration is required.  by Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024.
