For nearly 25 years, 51社区 alumnus Ben Gray, BS '93, has photographed the life and legacy of President Jimmy Carter鈥攆rom public engagements to private moments in Plains, Georgia. When the former president was laid to rest, Gray was chosen as one of the Carter family鈥檚 official photographers, capturing the funeral from an intimate perspective. With exclusive access, this OHIO grad and accomplished photojournalist documented a moment of national remembrance, preserving Carter鈥檚 farewell for history. Here, he tells his story.
