Outdoor & Place-Based Experiences

Outdoor and place-based programs are peer- and staff-led outdoor adventure and community-centered programs that help engage, prepare and connect students for their time at OHIO. These programs offer students the opportunity to meet fellow Bobcats, make friends, explore outdoor activities like backpacking, canoeing, and more, and learn about themselves.

Meal With A Mentor

Join fellow Bobcats and connect with alumni as part of our Meal with a Mentor program. Meet alumnus working in your professional industry with a handful of peers in the same field. Discuss career advice, explore career fields associated with your major, and get to know a Bobcat alum.

The LINKS program supports recruitment to OHIO for students seeking additional transition support.
Southern Ohio Copperheads

The Southern Ohio Copperheads is a community-owned student-operated non-profit baseball team that provides opportunities for students to build experiences in the sports and entertainment industry. The Copperheads are fully staffed by 51社区 students and serve as a "learning lab" for students.
